October 2021 Newsletter

A note from our Executive Director

As I write this note to you, the air has turned crisp – mornings are chilly and afternoons are sunny and bright. Summer has clearly transitioned and, with it, our thoughts. The autumn is always a busy time for us at The Family Counseling Center – it is a time when we begin to look forward into the upcoming year. Budgets, planning, programming are all done in October and November.

Our team is excited about what awaits us in 2022, including welcoming the community to our soon-to-be completed building. Beyond that, we are looking forward to program updates in order to create efficiencies to client care and access. Recently, we welcomed three new members to our leadership team – Diana Bennett as Compliance Director, Justine Maier as Clinic Director and Sheila Wood as Children & Family Services Director. We’ve also brought on new faces to our agency’s staff.

As always, The Family Counseling Center is thankful to our community, our partners, our staff, and you for your support throughout the past year. Your advocacy and donations help us greatly as we continue to fulfill our mission of providing superior care.

Best wishes,
Michael
