Youth Support Specialist

The Youth Support Specialist meets the mental health needs of children and allow for greater access to mental health referral and treatment programs. Provide mentoring, advocacy, as well as providing Youth Support Specialist services in the community. Services are designed to foster, promote, and support a child’s or youth’s developmentally appropriate functioning for the integration of the child/youth as an active and productive member of their family and community with the goal of achieving minimal on-going professional intervention.

School Based Intervention Counselor

A School Based Intervention Counselor is directly responsible to the Director of Children & Family Services, and provides services for both regular and special education students. The position goal is to meet the mental health needs of children and allow for greater access to mental health referral and treatment programs. A School Based Intervention Counselor will provide counseling, crisis intervention and referral services to the assigned school district. Support is provided to the families and the school staff.
