What is behavioral health anyway?

Behavioral health is the study of emotions and behaviors relating to a person’s mental well being and their ability to function in everyday life. Behavioral health promotes well-being by preventing mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety but also aims to prevent substance abuse and other addictions.

 

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus and Medicare. We are designated as a National Health Services Corps site. This means our practice serves all patients regardless of inability to pay.

Discounts for essential services are offered depending on family size and income. You may apply for a discount at the front desk.

 

Do I need to have a mental health diagnosis to be seen here?

No, you do not need to have a prior diagnosis to be seen in the behavioral health clinic. We offer assistance with short term stressors and long term needs, regardless of your situation.
