As a CCBHC, The Family Counseling Center is committed to delivering a wide range of integrated services, including mental health care, substance use treatment, crisis response, and support for individuals with co-occurring disorders. This model emphasizes whole-person care, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need to thrive.

A CCBHC allows The Family Counseling Center to:

● Expand access to care: Reduce wait times and ensure that individuals can access services when they need them most.

● Enhance crisis response capabilities: Strengthen 24/7 crisis intervention services to better address urgent behavioral = health needs.

● Integrate care: Provide holistic support by coordinating mental health, physical health, and social services for individuals and families.

● Support underserved populations: Reach those who face barriers to care, including individuals in rural areas, low-income families, and individuals with complex needs.

This designation aligns with New York State’s commitment to improving behavioral health outcomes and addressing the growing demand for mental health and substance use services. The Family Counseling Center has partnered with several community and state organizations to address client needs as part of the CCBHC designation to provide Veteran Services, Employment Services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Nursing Services on site. These partnerships are vital to addressing the needs of local residents.
