November 2021 Newsletter
A note from our Executive Director
Giving Gratitude
November is a month full of gratitude – social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook are full of daily gratitude challenges throughout the month, families gather to celebrate life and abundance on Thanksgiving, and nonprofits gear up to say both “please” and “thank you” as they conduct year-end giving.
The Family Counseling Center is grateful for the support our community gives every day of the year. We are thankful for our financial donors, our volunteer advocates, our Board of Directors, our staff, and our clients. Each individual who cares and gives their time, their talent, and their treasure is an essential piece to our success and impact.
This issue of our enews is focused on two ways you can help us as we launch our year-end giving campaign. The first is becoming an advocate via social media as we participate in our very first #GivingTuesday campaign. Our fundraising goal this year is a modest $2,600 – or the cost of 20 sessions for clients in financial need. The second way you can help is to spread the word about the good work we do. We have a lot of articles on our website highlighting our current programming. Today, we have a link that focuses on our Mobile Crisis Unit, a program that works with youth in Fulton County schools.
As always, The Family Counseling Center is thankful to our community, our partners, our staff, and you for your support throughout the year. Your advocacy and donations help us greatly as we continue to fulfill our mission of providing superior care.
Best wishes,
Michael

We’re participating in #GivingTuesday
This year, we are participating in #GivingTuesday (November 30th), an international day of giving that helps nonprofits. The Family Counseling Center is raising funds to help us provide 20 sessions for clients. The $2,600 is a small portion of the roughly $84,500 we donate each year in free or reduced-cost sessions for clients in financial need.
We would love to have you as a #GivingTuesday advocate.
