Family Counseling Center Welcomes New Staff members
The Family Counseling Center is happy to welcome seven new staff members during the first quarter of 2021. The group joins an organization focused on building a healthy community through support, engagement, and empowerment, and includes the following individuals:
· Kaitlyn Atchinson, Youth Peer Advocate
· Sierra Bailey, LMSW
· Jennifer Goch, Domestic Violence Legal Advocate
· Candiance Gurtler, Domestic Violence Legal Advocate
· Jennifer Jennings, Director of Marketing and Fund Development
· Justine Maier, LCSW-R, Clinic Supervisor
· Jonathan Wavres, MHC
They join an organization that has worked with the communities of Fulton County and surrounding areas for over forty years, and is currently transitioning into an expanded 27,500 sq. ft. space that, once complete, will house the Center’s 96 employees under one roof, recognizing that clients benefit when programs are co-located.
“We are excited to welcome our new team members to the Family Counseling Center,” said Michael Countryman, Executive Director of the organization. “Their work is valued by us and by the clients they serve. Each of them is helping to build a healthy community.”
The announcement of the Center’s new staff comes at a time when the organization has also announced an Open Recruitment Day to fill open positions within the organization. The event, scheduled for April 16, 2021 will be located at the 11-21 Broadway location in Gloversville. Virtual appointments are available. Full details about the event, and a link to register, are available here.
