The Family Counseling Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus and Medicare.

We are designated as a National Health Services Corps site. This means our practice serves all patients regardless of ability to pay.

Discounts for essential services are offered on a sliding fee scale depending on family size and income. To qualify you must document you household income and expenses, be denied medical coverage by Medicaid, have no other medical coverage, or have a high deductible on your insurance plan. These reduced charges can range from 0% to 80% of the actual charges.

We recommend that individuals without insurance apply for Medicaid or meet with a local Health Insurance Navigator.

The sliding fee scale application can be found here

If you have questions, or think you are eligible for the sliding fee reduced charges, please feel free to call or make an appointment to see our Billing Representative.
