The Family Counseling Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus and Medicare.
We are designated as a National Health Services Corps site. This means our practice serves all patients regardless of ability to pay.
Discounts for essential services are offered on a sliding fee scale depending on family size and income. These reduced charges can range from 0% to 80% of the actual charges.
We recommend that individuals without insurance apply for Medicaid or meet with a local Health Insurance Navigator.
No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
The sliding fee scale application can be found here
If you have questions, or think you are eligible for the sliding fee reduced charges, please feel free to call or make an appointment to see our Billing Representative.
