Welcome to the team!

The Family Counseling Center is happy to welcome nine new staff members during the third quarter of 2021.

The group joins an organization focused on building a healthy community through support, engagement, and empowerment, and includes the following individuals:

·       Diana Bennett, Corporate Compliance Director
·       Natasha Duchesne, LMSW, Clinic Supervisor
·       Carriebeth Epstein, LMHC, Clinic Supervisor
·       Rita Fitzpatrick, Domestic Violence Case Manager
·       Elizabeth Foley, School Based Intervention Counselor
·       Kimberley Lawrence, Front Office Supervisor
·       Jessica Mazur, Engagement Specialist

The new team members work in areas across an agency with deep roots in Fulton and Montgomery counties. Each year, the staff at The Family Counseling Center works with over 6,500 clients through their Behavioral and Medical Clinic, Children & Family Services Program, and Domestic Violence Program. The agency has staff in over 20 schools across the two counties along with a Crisis Unit for adults and a Mobile Crisis Unit for children at Fulton County Schools.

“We are excited to welcome our new team members to the Family Counseling Center,” said Michael Countryman, Executive Director of the organization. “Their work is valued by us and by the clients they serve. Each of them is helping to build a healthy community.”

The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County has been serving the community since 1976 and ensures a broad range of superior, quality, evidence-based, behavioral support and social services to the community. The Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health, providing services to children as young as five years old.
