Family Counseling Center Welcomes Staff to Two Key Roles

The Family Counseling Center has announced the hiring of Diana Bennett as Corporate Compliance Director and Kathleen Landry as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

These positions provide key leadership and support within an organization that is about to complete an $8.5 million renovation and expansion of their headquarters on Broadway in Gloversville, New York.

Diana Bennett has over 30 years of professional experience in volunteer recruitment, management, and program development including intergovernmental relations and non-profit management. Her extensive knowledge of Federal and New York State government and agencies will play heavily in her role as Corporate Compliance Director. Bennett most recently worked for Congressman Paul Tonko as District Office Manager and has previously held roles with Special Olympics of New York and Cornell Cooperative Extension. She has her Master of Professional Studies from Cornell University where she focused on policy analysis and management.

Kathleen (Kat) Landry has joined the Medical Practitioners team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Landry graduated from Russell Sage College as a Registered Nurse and Husson University as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health across the lifespan. Prior to joining The Family Counseling Center, Landry was involved in critical care, forensics, and mental/behavioral health nursing at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Health Partners.
