2021 Year-End Appeal
2021 has been a year of growth and change at The Family Counseling Center.
Our clients and staff have adapted to a newly expanded building and new ways of connecting for sessions due to COVID. Our Board of Directors and leadership staff have navigated a quickly changing environment and worked on creating a strategic plan that will allow the agency to prosper in the future.
Believe it or not, 2021 also marked our 45th year in operation. 45 years of care, commitment, and connection to our clients and the communities we serve. Since our founding, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of our clients; providing them with skills and a sense of empowerment. In 45 years, we’ve grown – from three volunteers to nearly 100 employees serving over 6,500 clients a year.

Our work continues.
Today, we continue to grow and change in order to provide the best possible services and support to our clients and our community. We need your help. The Family Counseling Center receives state and foundation grant support and much of our client care is paid for by their insurance – but we need help to fill in the gaps, to expand our programs, and continue to provide the level of care we pride ourselves on.
In 2022, your donations will help us:
- Expand our Crisis Unit to meet the growing need, while diverting people from emergency rooms;
- Create programs that maximize efficiencies, allowing us to virtually eliminate our waitlist;
- Provide the tools that ensure all of our clients have access to care – both in person and via telehealth
- Continue to offer services on a sliding scale or for free for those in need.
