Mental health crises don’t always happen in an office – and they don’t always happen during business hours. When an individual is experiencing a behavioral health emergency and cannot safely or comfortably come to us, our Mobile Crisis Team can provide support when it is needed most.

Our trained crisis professionals respond throughout the community to assess situations, provide immediate intervention, de-escalate crises, and connect individuals and families with appropriate care and resources.

Community-Based Crisis Response

Mobile Crisis Services are available for individuals experiencing:

  • Severe emotional distress
  • Behavioral health emergencies
  • Suicidal thoughts or concerns
  • Mental health crises
  • Substance use-related crises
  • Situations that require immediate assessment and support

Our goal is to stabilize the situation, reduce the need for hospitalization whenever appropriate, and connect individuals to ongoing services that support long-term wellness and recovery.

Trusted by Schools, Families, and First Responders

The Family Counseling Center’s Mobile Crisis Team is a valued resource for schools, law enforcement agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and families throughout our region.

Schools often utilize Mobile Crisis Services when a student is experiencing a behavioral health emergency or emotional crisis. Law enforcement agencies partner with our team when mental health professionals can provide specialized support, assessment, and intervention during behavioral health-related calls.

By working collaboratively with community partners, we help ensure individuals receive compassionate, clinically appropriate care during moments of crisis.

Support for Families

When someone you love is in crisis, it can be difficult to know what to do next.

Our Mobile Crisis Team works closely with families to provide guidance, support, education, and connections to resources. We help families understand their options and develop a plan for moving forward safely and confidently.

What Happens Next?

A crisis response is often just the beginning of the healing process.

Following an intervention, our team helps connect individuals to ongoing services, including counseling, psychiatric care, medication management, peer support, care coordination, and community resources. We work to remove barriers to treatment and ensure individuals receive the continued support they need.

If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, are concerned about a loved one, or need support for a student, family member, or community member in crisis, help is available now.
