At The Family Counseling Center, leadership means more than guiding an organization – it means strengthening the well-being of our community. Our executive team and Board of Directors bring decades of experience in mental health, nonprofit management, and community advocacy. Together, they work to ensure that every individual and family who walks through our doors receives compassionate, high-quality care.
Their vision, expertise, and deep commitment to service continue to shape our growth, expand access to care, and support our mission of helping people build healthier, more hopeful futures.

Organizational Snapshot
Commitment to Community Partnerships
Strong communities are built through collaboration, and the Family Counseling Center is deeply committed to partnership with the organizations and individuals who share in the work of supporting our region’s well-being. Our leadership team actively cultivates relationships with schools, healthcare providers, human service agencies, law enforcement, and local nonprofits to ensure that care is coordinated, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
These partnerships allow us to reach people where they are, reduce barriers to services, and create a more connected network of support. We believe that meaningful change happens when we work together – and we are grateful for the many community partners who join us in strengthening the mental health and resilience of the families we serve.

Message from the Board President:
“As Board President, I am honored to serve alongside a dedicated group of leaders who are deeply committed to the mission of The Family Counseling Center. We are grateful for the trust our community places in us, and we are proud to support the staff and leadership team as they provide compassionate, high-quality care that strengthens lives and builds a healthier, more resilient community.
IN 2025 The Family Counseling Center convened its first Client Advisory Board (CAB), a diverse group of clients, family members, and community stakeholders whose lived experience helps shape our services. Meeting at least quarterly, the CAB offers meaningful guidance on service delivery, practices, and the evolving needs of the community.
The CAB is made up of 8-12 members who reflect the demographics of the region. CAB members select their own discussion topics and develop bi-annual recommendations for The Family Counseling Center’s Board of Directors, who have committed to including CAB representation on the Board and its Program Committees.
The CAB’s insights – grounded in real experience – strengthen TFCC’s work as a CCBHC and help ensure policies, processes, and services truly meet the needs of those they are designed to support.
