December 2022 eNewsletter

A note from our Executive Director

A Time to Celebrate

December means long, cold days and the annual adventure of digging out winter coats, mittens, and holiday decorations. It is a time to gather with family and friends and celebrate warmth and affection.

For some of us, the holiday season can bring deep moments of anxiety or depression. At The Family Counseling Center, our therapists, counselors, and staff work with clients to find moments of joy and laughter during this time. Demand for our services has increased over the last two years and we are working to meet those needs.

Our Clinic Staff have dedicated themselves to reducing our waitlist from over 500 names to under 100. Our entire team is working toward eliminating the waitlist in 2023 and moving toward a Same Day Access program where inquiry calls are seen, assessed, and onboarded within 24 hours.

This month, The Family Counseling Center is asking for your help as we move toward celebrating the successes of our clients and staff. Your donations will have a major impact on our organization, the lives of our clients, and the overall wellbeing of our community. Please consider making a donation to The Family Counseling Center. Online donations may be made here. To learn more about our efforts in 2022 and our goals for 2023, please click here.

Our impacts and successes are directly connected to your donations, advocacy, and partnership. Thank you.

Best wishes,

Michael
