A Letter to Community Leaders
Written August 17, 1976
Over a year ago, a small group of people representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish communities met to address community needs. This group decided to explore a felt need for more counseling services in Gloversville… With this in mind, and with much conviction, we set our goal toward establishing a counseling center which would reach out to people in this area who have problems and do not know where to look for help. Our aim was toward an open and comfortable center to serve anyone regardless of financial situation.
