The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County is excited to announce
that they will be hosting an Agency Meet & Greet at Frog Alley Brewing on State Street in Schenectady August 11, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event is an opportunity for outpatient mental health therapists from around the area to meet, learn, and become familiar with The Family Counseling Center.
The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County is located in Gloversville, New York – a small city in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The agency was founded in 1976 by a handful of volunteer counselors and has grown over the last 46 years into an organization that works in Fulton, Montgomery, western Saratoga, western Schenectady, northern Schoharie, Herkimer, and Hamilton counties. The Center helps over 4,500 clients per year in a truly collaborative care model with clients working across services and programs.

Today, the Center is exploring more and more ways to expand services and programming while breaking down barriers to care. An on-site pharmacy allows for ease of access to medications, monthly public health events increases overall care, a walk-in Crisis Unit provides support to individuals and families in moments of crisis.
