Family Counseling Center Welcomes New Staff Members

The Family Counseling Center welcomed nine new staff members during the first quarter of 2022. The group joins an organization focused on building a healthy community through support, engagement, and empowerment, and includes the following individuals:

  • Jahira Bethea, MSW
  • Dasia Hale, MHC
  • Christy Koban, MHC
  • Stephanie Musliner, LMSW
  • Michael Pitagno, MHC
  • Emily Planz, MHC
  • Emily Potter, MHC
  • Christopher Preston, MCH
  • Sarah Stark

They join an organization that has worked in Fulton and Montgomery counties and surrounding communities for nearly forty-six years. Each year, The Family Counseling Center works with over 6,500 clients across their Behavioral Health Clinic, Children and Family Services Program, and Domestic Violence Program. Clients are at the heart of a collaborative care model – often working with staff across different programs in order to build a healthy life.

“We are excited to welcome our new team members to the Family Counseling Center,” said Michael Countryman, Executive Director of the organization. “Their work is valued by us and by the clients they serve. Each of them is helping to build a healthy community.”
