A note from our Executive Director

You may hear me say this again and again, but our success is due to the support we have from our community and the deep roots we have grown after 45 years of service. The pride we take each day in helping to build healthy lives also helps to build a healthy community, informs the work we do, and the partnerships we create.

You may have also heard me say a time or two over the past few years how excited I am about our expansion project at 11-21 Broadway.

The project is quickly coming to a close but there is one last important piece to the puzzle – our Events Center. The Events Center will be a central location in downtown Gloversville, able to accommodate up to 150 people for large-scale meetings, conferences, fundraising events, and more. We are currently seeking partners to help raise funds to finalize the project.

In today’s edition we will be sharing with you some of the recent things we’ve been doing to celebrate our close ties to the community and our appreciation of the team we have at The Family Counseling Center.

As always, The Family Counseling Center is thankful to our community, our partners, our staff, and you for your support throughout the past year. Your advocacy and donations help us greatly as we continue to fulfill our mission of providing superior care.

Our Treasure

At The Family Counseling Center, our staff are a true treasure – and so too is the community we call home. For the last 45 years, we have been rooted in Gloversville, New York. Recently we sent our staff on a treasure hunt around downtown Gloversville so that they could learn more about the place we call home.
